Ruffle Coat & Woolen Skirt & Sweater

I LOVE the detail of this coat.
I LOVED making the pink coat.  It was fun and ruffly and just sweet.  It isn't really supposed to be a coat but a dress a la Marie Antoinette from Knitted Historical Figures by Jan Messent which I am also going to make some day.  I love this book!  I would like to make many more of these costumes.  If you want to buy this book for my birthday that would make me happy.

The green coat, stripey skirt, and hat is from Sticka till Barbie.  I made the hat larger to fit the bigger headed doll and the green coat was too big for the smaller doll but perfect for the Barbie.
(Again I should have blocked the skirt but again, didn't bother)

Skirt & Vest

The clothes for these dolls aren't as modest as Victoria or I would like so I made some for them.
The purple skirt pattern is by Kate Jeffery which I found on Ravelry.
The grey vest was also found on Ravelry and the pattern is by Marika Tobak.
(Yes, I need to block them but I doubt I ever will bother)
The funky furniture was made by Victoria's friend Celeste and her Mom.

Mermaid Dresses

I made the green mermaid dress specifically for this doll as she is supposed to be a sea monster and I thought it would be kinda cool to make her look kind of mermaidish.  I had to readjust the pattern since the doll is a lot smaller than a regular Barbie doll.  I then made the second dress to see how the pattern actually looked on Barbie.
The pattern is a Sticka till Barbie.

Witch Hats

Victoria has been reading Harry Potter lately and starting her own little fanfiction which inspired me to knit up a few Witch Hats.

I would love to knit up some more Wizarding and Witching clothes from the Harry Potter Universe.
I enjoy knitting them.
I found the pattern for the Witch Hat on Sticka till Barbie.

Terrorism Tuesday

These were found at one of our local coffee shops.
Kevin found them and took the picture.

The next few posts on this blog this week will be mostly knitting.
I have been knitting instead of blogging for most of March.
Actually, I have been knitting instead of pretty much everything.
